K-Spirits & Food Committee

The K-Spirits & K-Food Committee of KUICA promotes collaboration between Korea and the U.S. in traditional liquor, food, and culinary industries. The committee expands cross-border partnerships, trade opportunities, and cultural exchange to enhance the global presence of K-Spirits and K-Food.

The K-Spirits & K-Food Committee of the Korea-U.S. Industrial Cooperation Association (KUICA) serves as a key platform for strengthening industrial and cultural cooperation between Korea and the United States in the traditional liquor and food sectors. The committee focuses on expanding business, investment, and branding opportunities that promote K-Spirits and K-Food in global markets.

Through collaboration among producers, distributors, government agencies, and hospitality partners, the committee supports the export and promotion of traditional Korean beverages such as soju, makgeolli, and craft spirits, as well as innovative Korean food products that embody the nation’s culinary heritage.

It also plays a vital role in facilitating policy dialogue on trade, labeling, and safety standards while encouraging joint marketing campaigns, cultural festivals, and food-tech innovation that bridge Korean authenticity with U.S. consumer trends.

By fostering cooperation, sharing success stories, and promoting sustainable industry practices, the committee contributes to strengthening Korea-U.S. relations through the soft power of cuisine and craftsmanship.
